We have extensive experience working with a variety of databases, including Medicare and Medicaid claims databases, commercial health plan claims databases, Medstat MarketScan® claims databases, state-level discharge abstracts, Medicare Cost Reports, American Hospital Association Annual Survey data, the Area Resource File, industry data from the Census and the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and several others. In working with these databases, HECG has developed broad knowledge and expertise with statistical analysis software, including SAS®, Stata®, SPSS®, Treeage®, S-Plus, Access®, and others.
